View project description
Conversion of 14 Cavendish Square from banking premises into a Headquarters Building. The site was originally intended as a gatehouse to a Palace to be occupied by the Duke of Chandos in the sixteenth century
Extensive remodelling has occurred over the years in this portion of the grand twin villas, removing much of the original detail. The project involved opening areas to allow daylight and ventilation through the deep plan of the existing building. Areas of listing were to have restoration and remodelling to recapture the integrity of the original architectural intention.
