Overview
Wright & Wright are working with All Souls College on a visionary project to redevelop and revitalise 10-15 High Street, Oxford. The project offers an important opportunity to sensitively renew these buildings, to invest in the retail premises for the High Street and to provide much needed teaching and research accommodation for the College in the upper floors of the buildings.

Alongside the works at ground floor level to replace and sensitively upgrade the shopfronts, the transformative project will create new accessible seminar rooms, study spaces, and staff areas to ease pressure on existing College facilities. The proposed internal spaces reveal and celebrate the historic fabric of the buildings, making clear the distinction between new and old.
The redevelopment provides the opportunity to invest in sustainability. A low-energy, deep retrofit approach has been taken with the aims of safeguarding the future of the historic fabric, minimising the College's carbon footprint and moving as far as possible to a net zero position. This involves incorporating high levels of insulation and airtightness, high performance glazing, very efficient mechanical and electrical systems and renewable energy sources where possible, alongside targeting healthy building accreditations such as Fitwell to ensure occupants well-being and comfort.
Our ambition is to create a place of learning that connects directly with the life of the city, while honouring the historic complexity of the site. We are excited to work with Wright & Wright to bring this vision to life.
