Work is progressing on site at the Museum of the Home, where previously underused lower ground floor spaces are being transformed into The Hive, a series of interconnected rooms designed for discussion and exchange of ideas.

The Hive is part of our ongoing collaboration with the Museum, where it continues to expand its work and exploration of the meaning of home through its long-term 'futureplan'.

Hosting talks, screenings, markets, workshops, and community events, The Hive will introduce 325m² of flexible, publicly accessible space, significantly increasing the Museum’s capacity to deliver ambitious exhibitions and public programming.

An award-winning, ecologically-minded design for a community-centric museum stems from a holistic redefinition of exhibition, storage and community spaces, all with no commensurate increase in energy use.
